What do we assess in this service?
The bank makes the decision
A Finnish Business ID, Trade Register registration or residence permit does not create an automatic right to a business bank account. The bank applies its own customer-acceptance, anti-money-laundering and risk procedures.
What the bank may need to understand
- Company ownership and decision makers
- Actual beneficial owners
- Business model and industry
- Expected customers and countries
- Expected incoming and outgoing payments
- Source of initial funds
- Contracts, invoices or other evidence of genuine business activity
- Identity and address information for relevant persons
Prepare the file before the meeting
A consistent company description, ownership structure and transaction forecast reduce avoidable back-and-forth. Information given to the bank should match PRH, tax, accounting and contractual records.

Frequently asked questions
Does a Finnish company automatically have a right to a business bank account?
No. The bank performs its own KYC, AML and customer-acceptance assessment and makes the final decision.
Can ENB guarantee strong electronic identification?
No. The bank or identity-service provider makes that decision under its own legal and risk requirements.
